Adh`uphor

Astrographic entry: Adh`uphor
Adh`uphor is a large cold planet with almost no gaseous atmosphere due to its distant orbit from its sun. Adh`uphor's surface is made up of thick ice caps on the poles and rocky, cratered terrain in the center, with a few large caves as the only remnants of Adh`uphor's volcanic activity in the distant past. The planet plays host to a prosperous mining community that has allowed it to sustain a modest population made up mostly of mine workers. As a result, Adh`uphor economy was very dependent on the fortunes of its communal owner, Tresario Mining Authority. Adh`uphor's employment applications have catapulted in recent years in order to keep the orbiting shipyards fully stocked as they try and keep up with the Tresarian government's increaing demand from the system.

Bir`iltic

Astrographic entry: Bir`iltic
Bir`iltic is a gas giant planet resising in the Bak'rofsen System known for its potent storms and displays of ionized gases in its upper atmosphere. Early attempts at colonization were unsuccessful as a result of the harsh conditions, and specially reinforced city platforms were needed to eventually sustain habitation on Bir`iltic. After many years of the planet not being developed, the Tresarian government enacted a plan to get water on the surface and make the planet hospitable. Hydrologists were brought to the planet to find water and they were successful in finding underground lakes upon which environmental engineers built wells to make sure that life on the plant could thrive for years to come.

Ket`alis

Astrographic entry: Ket`alis
Ket`alis, or "Ket" as it is colloquially known, is not only the smallest planet in the system but also the most beautiful. It contains a gorgeous landscape of jungles, forests, grasslands, and sporadic oceans. The planet has two main sources of income: hunting and the export of alcoholic beverages. Hunting has remained popular due to the planet's landscape, which is home to many large species making this planet a common hunting destination for inhabitants of the Bak`rofsen system. Ket's brewing industry is sustained by the vast array of plants located within its jungles. Its most popular is the "Hawk Rum"; this rum is created as a byproduct of natural chemical reactions involving plant matter and grounded hawk claws. The rum is then sent to a distillation plant for further processing. Once the fire-water is created it is kept in special wooden aging casks over time until the right quality is achieved. The minimum aging process is six years making this one of the finest rums in the galaxy.

Bal`demnic

Bal`demnic is a large planet covered almost entirely in water. The atmosphere, made of mostly nitrogen, oxygen, and carbon dioxide, is crucial to Bal`demnic's ability to support life. Although the surface of the Bal`demnic contains only a single island chain, volcanic activity in other parts of the planet could potentially form new landmasses. There is an outpost on the island chain that houses a research and development team from Tresario's ship manufactuer – Cerberus Corporation. Cerberus takes advantage of the low population to test the latest ships and components designed in the massive R&D stations in orbit around the planet.

Bak`rofsen

Astrographic entry: Bak`rofsen
Bak`rofsen's red color comes from iron oxide in the sand on its surface. While much of the planet is covered in deserts, patches of life around oases allowed easy settlement during its initial colonization. The planet's climate is hot and humid near the prime meridian during the summer months and cold on its outer banks during the winter months, due to the planet's unsusual rotation pattern. Bak`rofsen's rich resources allowed its economy to quickly flourish and it remains the most influential planet in the system in spite of growth on the other planets. Bak`rofsen is a major manufacturing and trade-oriented planet and as such boasts a huge network of traders that make the planet a go-to destination for smugglers and thieves.

Moons

Alg`trle

Astrographic entry: Alg`trle
Alg`trle is Ket`alis only moon. It is fairly small, and made up of rocky terrain with a few craters on the surface. The moon has historically served as a waypoint for travelers to Ket`alis, due to it's close proximity to the planet. Alg`trle serves as the main warehousing of "Hawk Rum" which is stored in large facilities built in the moon's craters. The aging process of the fire-water makes the rum have a rich and sweet tangy taste. An experienced logistics team is on the surface, as well as on a station in orbit coordinating the delivery of this expensive and rare rum to all corners of the galaxy.
