Sarka III

Astrographic entry: Sarka III
At the very edge of the system, Sarka III is a very lonely planet that most people don't go to, even to hide. That might have to do with the fact that it is as cold as Hoth and has a deadly toxic atmosphere. Its noxious gases kill almost all species, but some races can survive, and even like to live on planets such as Sarka III. For that reason, it has slowly grown into the Tresarian ecumenopolis that we see today.

Sarka I

Astrographic entry: Sarka I
To say Sarka I is a habitable planet in the Sarka system would be stretching the truth. While its atmosphere is breathable, its endless desert, hot arid air, and fierce sandstorms make it one of the most inhospitable planets in the local regions. The continual storm that surrounds the planet is named Lyanda after the first explorer who discovered it. With winds reaching a ferocious 400 kilometers per hour, only a heavily shielded capital ship or a very skilled pilot is capable of tolerating an atmospheric landing by riding the wind currents to the surface.

It is these winds that have seen the almost perfect preservation of the ruins now buried deep beneath the surface where there also remains traces of an extinct lake and river system. The discovery of the ruins and water network by the Galactic Exploration Service deep scanning craft Discovery II made the news for only a short time before it was seemingly forgotten in the annals of history until its rediscovery by the private explorer Hans Zerkman a little over twenty standard years ago.

Many archeologists travel to Sarka I now, to study the ancient ruins in an attempt to gain fame and a place for themselves in the history books. Safely in the confines of the Tresarian cities, they attempt to determine the truth behind the Sarka system's past. Though with the recent advancement in technology, it is only a matter of time before they can be studied more thoroughly and archeologists will finally be able to enter the ancient ruins.
