Maldrood is a sector in the Mid Rim region of the galaxy and is home to the Anzati and Siniteen races.
History
Thousand years ago before the era of the Old Republic, there was a theocratic state known as the Anzat Order originated from the Anzat System in the Maldrood Sector. Over time, a devastating civil war led to the downfall of the Anzat Order, resulting in the complete defunction of the state. However, it saw a remarkable resurgence under the leadership of an Anzati noble who also held the position of President in the newly formed New Anzat Order. This rebirth marked a pivotal moment in the history of the Anzati civilization.
In the midst of the Galactic Civil War, the Tion Hegemony managed to exert its influence over hidden systems within the Maldrood Sector. This ultimately led to the Anzatan Commonwealth losing control of the sector, marking a significant shift in the balance of power during that tumultuous era.
On Year 10 Day 152, coinciding with the formal declaration of peace and the negotiation of various terms, a significant territorial consolidation took place. As part of this exchange, the Anzatan Commonwealth relinquished territory within the Allied Tion Sector in return for gaining control over two systems within the Maldrood Sector. These two systems had previously been instrumental in the Commonwealth's efforts to seize control of the Maldrood Sector, solidifying its authority over this strategically vital region.
