Astrographic entry: Layover
An intriguing cosmic wayfarer, Layover is the only celestial object in a stable orbit around the lonesome star Besh Gorgon. Analysis of the surface composition indicates that this comet originated in the Chad system, but at some point in the distant past, its journey intersected with Besh Gorgon, and it was captured. Falling into a course sufficiently distant from the sun, Layover's frozen gases don't evaporate, and it no longer creates a dusty tail as it circles its new partner. Typical of objects its size, Layover has an irregular shape. Resembling a kidney with one relatively flat side, the level surface was used as a staging area for equipment and supplies by the construction crews of BDT-0978, now commonly known as "The Wheel." Baron Administrator Jaspara continued developing this face during the waning years of the Republic, establishing an inclusive domed city that now serves as the station's terrestrial annex.
